 Breast Cancer Consultation ServiceThe Breast Cancer Consultation Service is a special service offered at the Rose Quarter Cancer Center to provide rapid evaluation and expert opinions in the management of newly-diagnosed breast cancer patients. Recognizing the need to provide such patients with in-depth and up-to-date information to make timely treatment decisions, the team emphasizes collaborative care by a group of NCS Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Breast Cancer Consultation Nurse with a special interest in breast cancer. Patients are typically seen within only a few days after requested by your surgeon or family physician, with prompt feedback being provided to your referring physician. Necessary treatment may be arranged at a facility of your choice, either at one of seven Northwest Cancer Specialists offices or elsewhere. The Breast Cancer Consultation Service is intended to serve as a valuable resource to breast cancer patients in need of reliable treatment information or a second opinion about management.
